Rain affected NCST

I have scanned some pics of how the rain in Mumbai affected NCST ( place I work ) during the last week of July. I need not describe much everything is quite visible in the pics.

Man that was something ! Surprising nobody came up with something radical to keep water out. Not that its easy but hey, thats NCST with NCSTians !!

Preventing water from getting in was not in our hands. All we could do was try our level best to save all equipments and important stuff. Rest everything was in the hands of Rain gods ...

I'll need a full re-creation of the situation with access to a cluster ( if any ) for simulations.

Looks terrible! How much time did it take for the clean up? Also how about the damages?

It took 10 to 12 days. Our cleaners had a heavy time. All our staff, technical and non technical worked together to remove all books from the library and were always ready to help in all possible ways. Our office was given a leave for a week, but the cleaners, and restoring team(System Admins,Networks group,Security, cleaners etc) and canteen were working all days to bring back all system. Bcos of all their efforts, things are fine now.
