Please remind me precisely why I shouldn't abandon Lamentations. I am having lots of trouble getting in touch with my inner Auriga at present, but have somehow lost the ability to update or to even think this story is anything except very, very annoying.

Don't worry, guys. Aur and I won't abandon you. :)

There are many reasons I personally can think of, but the foremost reason is that it is HIGHLY ENTERTAINING. The other reasons are as follows:

1) Auriga is a sadly neglected character. Barely mentioned in any of the actual books, Auriga is ignored by other fanfiction authors as well. D: SAD. You have made her out to be a wonderful character and she needs Lamentations for recognition.
2) Lamentations is an excellent fanfic for reading after finishing a very moody chapter or two from the actual books. It is light-hearted laugh-out-loud HP fun!
3) Everyone wants to see Auriga get together with Snape. The suspense is killing.

hey well I guess reviews would't do it, how about you read the princess diaries books all in a sitting and watch the briget jones movies in a sitting? that oughta do it. Also find some funny snape comics. like watch potter puppet pals. ' Iam snaaaape the potions master'. Or go to Evande ( Sara noble on ff.net) she has funny snape comics on deviant art.

(Yeah, even though you updated.)

Because it's the most wonderful story I've ever read, and it's hilarious. It also makes me feel better about myself. :) Plus, you know, the Auriga/Snape love you've created i so many different people.

Oh! And another reason you must do so...because we have to see Gilderoy Lockhart enter the scene. I can't wait for Second Year.
