Wow, I haven't been to a roller rink since like the sixth grade! I didn't know how to skate back then, so I always made a fool out of myself and clung to the wall like there was no tomorrow. I also remember the super lame/awesome arcade stuff they had there - shiny lipgloss in ridiculous flavors for twelve tickets or something. THE BEST.

i tried to get people to rollerskating with me last summer and, well, no dice. you'll probably have better luck. if the roller rink you're talking about is off of plainfield, that's the one i went to in elementary/junior high. man, oh man. and it DOES have a disco ball. (rather DID, 10 years ago...)

and that guy in the picture looks like tom!
