Gosh, I haven't taken polaroids in a while.

I took some at the "Straylight Run" concert... that's about it.

Yeah, I hadn't taken any in a loooong time either but film was buy 2/get 1 free at Walgreen's a few weeks ago and somehow, $25 seemed totally worth it.

Polaroid pics are kind of like vinyl records. The quality's not as good, but somehow they are still more awesome than their digital counterparts.

I agree with this completely. Plus my digital camera just seems a piece lately (mainly because I can't be bothered to read the manual) and the polaroid is mostly fool-proof.

Elizabeth on the counter is pretty awesome. As is the sushi boat. I need to see that naked photo at some point...

Elizabeth on the counter is what happens after a long, sweaty night at Drink. I wish I could have sushi on a boat every day of my life.

..I'll email it.

Is the second one by Miranda July? I think I saw it the other day at B&N.

-Paint it Black by Janet Fitch
-What is the What by you know who
-A Disorder Peculiar to the Country by Ken Kalfus
-Blink by Malcolm Gladwell

AND I FORGOT TO MENTION: Spook: Science Tackles the Afterlife by Mary Roach. It's about ghosts. Kind of.

oooh what is the what! i read a heartbreaking work of staggering genius when i was still in thailand and somehow my grandma got ahold of it... now all i hear is, "how can you read through all those f-words? no one really talks like that, do they?" and i don't have the heart to tell her that a lot of people really do.
