Who is this Jimmy Scott? Is his music as catchy as his name?

Here is an article about him from the New York Times. He's easily in his 70s and has hands down one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard. Taylor's grandmother introduced me to him and since then I've been trying to hunt down some of his music. It's kind of hard to find.

Oh. Thanks. I listened to a few sound clips on iTunes. And you are right, he's got a great voice. They had quite a few albums on iTunes by the way.

Yeah, they've got quite a few of his albums online, but I guess they're hard to find in stores in this area.

He covered "Nothing Compares 2 U" by Prince / Sinead O'Connor. I think that's my favorite one.

I was just going to say, aren't you glad you stayed? It wouldn't have been the same without you. I had been upset for a while because we weren't getting any family bonding time in together. The four of us are always all gone somewhere.

I think making hot/cold noises was my favorite part of the day.
