its the same with a lot of drugs. like, when i started taking cipralex over three years i gained about thirty pounds and while i do blame part of it on the medication slowing my metabolism, it was also largely due to the fact that i wasn't as depressed so i wasn't starving myself and purging or spending all my energy throwing fits!
one thing i have heard about methadone though is that is isn't good for your bones and teeth. is that true or perhaps its the fact that junkies are not always the most deligiant in personal hygeine and when they go on methadone they start taking care, go to the dentist and find these problems?

I'm in the rehab world and I feel like they push this shit down your throats so much that it's a wonder anyone ever gets better. If you believe that if you relapse that you'll never return, then most likely, that'll be the case! Anyway, enjoyed your post...
