all I have to say is that Mae is uh-mae-zing! DURHURHUR! No but seriously, if I was stranded on an island, naked, with an mp3 player that could hold only one album and the cannibals were going to eat my legs off and make me choose between copeland and mae as they tore away the flesh piece by piece in a sacrificial dance and swoon of eternal darkness, it'd have to be Mae!

First and foremost, copeland owns. they are probably the most original indie/emo sound to come out since Clarity. Maybe i would listen to Mae more if i was really into radio rock, but im not really. Mae's vocals are not emotionally driven as those of their arch enemy, Copeland. The main reason Copeland owns Mae's ass is definatly the vocals. i mean seriously you cant tell me Mae's are better. Although i have not heard Mae's new album in its entirty, jen did send me a song (piano song to be exact) and i must say the piano work is amazing. I recommend all you hardcore Mae fans to head over to purevolume.com to listen to Copelands new songs because they sound alot like Mae's stuff (radio rock haha). oh, yah Copelands cover songs own all your asses.
