I was having a long conversation w/ an old friend and recently thinking about last year around this time. Last year the Wed before Thanksgiving night I was indeed at Embers for a rare visit, but truth be told that wasn't a great night for me. I am not sure I want to go poking around old memories. I have some good one there and some not so good ones. Such is life I guess. My life is so much different now, in some fundamental ways.

If only your Embers tradition was a couple months ago, otherwise I'd be totally game. I haven't been out dancing since June to the Fez, but with the Sproutling in utero I'm trying to avoid the smoky joints these days, plus at this stage I just don't have the energy or stamina that I used to! Enjoy yourself and maybe I'll see ya at the next ladies brunch at Mothers coming up?
