Tutorial: How To Credit

Since I realize crediting is as foreign and strange to LJ newcomers as monkey-brains soup is to anyone outside of Canton I decided to put up a little tutorial on how to do it. This will be short and sweet - just know that crediting isn't hard at all once you know how, so don't be intimidated by this tutorial!

If I were you, I'd take out the part about removing limbs. It makes iconers sound like uber-bitches, and it makes me really not want to use their icons. *shrugs* Otherwise useful, thanks!

Thanks for this help guide I have been searching through icon communities for this information. Can you please explain how one checks an icon for the credit, I have seen a few great ones and have wondered who made them.
