As you can probably see, I'm not on my way to Oxford Street as I'm supposed to be. The thing is I've been told on top of my wages this job gives me a clothing allowance. Which is really intimidating for me. I want to work in a relaxed place, not somewhere where image is important. And I wouldn't be able to take a rejection if they think my look isn't right. Y'know?
UPDATE: This lady called me and asked if I could go for an interview at the company itself tomorrow afternoon. She asked if I had an "interview suit"? What? I said no and she told me I "needed" one, otherwise she couldn't send me to the interview. Fine then. It was only some fucking I.T firm- I mean surely they would/should be sold on my personality first, and maybe THEN tell me to invest in some attire more suitable to what they want.
Two words: Fuck 'em.
