Here we go! I'm watching epic amounts of t.v. I'm behind on tonight, and I actually have some thoughts on the shows I'm watching. Also a few on shows I actually watched during the week so I figured I'd put them all together. Here's to epic t.v. fail!

Cut for spoilers and length.

The CSI Trilogy

Oh Jesus Christ in a sidecar, what happened to my show? No wonder I can't handle the fandom anymore! This had the potential to be awesome. So many things could've been done with three hours for one case, but no. It was loosely held together, at best, with some horrible lines and just bad, bad writing.

Miami: The first thing I have to say about part one of the Trilogy will tell you (or at least those of you that know me in the CSI fandom) exactly how this went for me. Miami was not the worst part of the Trilogy.

For the most part, I found it to be a typical Miami episode. It was bright and flashy and full of Horatio being pompous. When the hell did Ryan become full time comic relief? I laughed at the bear scene, but it wasn't a good laugh. You're not supposed to laugh at CSI... well, not that much. They're known for good one liners (at least Vegas was back in the day. It is how every episode starts after all.) But that? That was ridiculous. Good lord CSI writers! What the hell is wrong with you? Seriously!

I do have to give kudos to one scene and you're all going to drop when I tell you it was an H scene. When Ray first gets to Miami and H is there to greet him it was the first time I'd seen non-pompous and over acted Horatio since probably season 3? Maybe even longer. And finally, FINALLY someone says something about Warrick! The guy dies and about a day later, suddenly no one mentions him at all? But I digress. I thought it was the best scene of the episode, and one of the best in Miami history, if only for it's simplicity and honestness.

New York: What can I say? I was bored again. This show, no matter what, always seems to bore the ever loving crap out of me. The connection to get Ray to town was even weaker than in Miami. I mean, at least Calleigh linked one of her vics to a Nevada desert. The only thing that really messed it up for Miami is that Las Vegas is not equivalent to Nevada. I felt that was a bit of a stretch... and then I watched the NY episode. Seriously, they couldn't come up with anything better than "there's a CSI from Vegas on the phone randomly with info on our case." Gimme a break.

Vegas: I'll start with the good. Vegas is still the master of the one liners. Especially Brass. He's one of the very few characters that is not only still on the show, but hasn't changed (except for maybe the first couple of episodes when he was fighting with Warrick all the time. He was just angrier then. Since then he's been the same though). Ho-vines and "Chernobyl, perhaps you have heard of this" in a bad Russian accent. So good. There were other lines, from other characters (especially Nick, it seems, this time), but my memory is shot. I swear, sometimes all that holds the show together for me is Brass and Greggo. Hell, I even like Hodges now. And come one, him with those glasses and Greggo's response of bitchin'! The only thing that would've made it better is if Greg had put them on. It would've been a mere shadow of his former greatness, but I would've appreciated it none the less.

This, I'm sorry to say, is the only good thing I have to say about the episode. Am I the only one who kept forgetting that it was even part of the trilogy? I'm actually failing to see how this is much of a singular case at all. Didn't Ray originally contact the Miami lab because of a case and the girl he was looking for end up dead in Miami? Was it just so spread out and badly written that I missed something crucial?

The whole trilogy would've been a major let down had this happened say four years ago when the shows were still good (at least relatively speaking) and I'm thanking whatever dieties there might be that episodes like Grave Danger and Playing with Fire weren't written now instead of years ago. So much could've been done with this Trilogy. Imagine if the teams actually intermixed! They're all connected because of previous crossovers. Just imagine if they'd managed to draw everything together! Had them all working on this! The things that could've happened! *shakes head sadly* It's all just such a disappointment.

Supernatural

Holy sweet Jesus! I'm not even through the credits and I'm already doing some serious (and honest) LOLing! I love how they acknowledge fandom SO HARD! Come on! The Homo-erotic subtext of Supernatural? Fuck, this is why this is one of the best shows ever.

OMFG they're LARPING mystery theatre style! This has to be the greatest season. So many shows get worse as time goes on, jumping the shark and whatnot (see my post on the Trilogy), but not Supernatural!

Okay, I love Chuck. Poor awkward, awesome Chuck. Agreeing to the first ever SPN Con just to get into the pants of Sam's #1 Fangirl. You know what's scary about this whole episode? The writers/producers have us fangirls pegged! That scene in the ep when Sam and Dean first find Chuck and the books and they find the fic was only scratching the surface people. This is the one and only show where dreams of canon slash could actually come true, if only a horrible nightmare on one of their parts. It's unfortunate considering I just can't do Wincest... maybe I'd luck out and get a little Dean/Cas. That I could definitely do. At any rate, they've got us figured out. All those times in other various fandoms when we were all convinced that TPTB were stealing our RP and fic ideas... WE WERE RIGHT! THEY ARE! And this episode is the proof!

I LOVE the hunting scene with the LARPing 'Sam and Dean.' Dean finally freaking out and telling them off was awesome and the whole graveyard scene? Just perfect. It was almost like ghostfacers all over again. And to top it all off, we got an awesome ghost story out of it! Yay creepy children!

HOLY SHIT THE MILLION DOLLAR MAN NOISE! Sorry, can you all tell I'm writing this as I watch? Holy hilarious!

HOLY SHIT 2! I called it! I so called it! They did Wincest, just not how you always thought!

I end this segment the way they did. "It's not really jumping the shark if you never come back down." WIN!

Glee Good god how I love this show. Jane Lynch is amazing and always steals the show for me, but this week, I have a special place in my heart for Arty, Kurt and Kurt's Dad.

Arty ruled this week. Classic lines and like I said to moodymuse (at least I think it was her), he was written as a real teenaged guy. Not some faux hollywood version of a teenaged guy, but a real one. That is SO how guys are! The best line of the show? (Oh crap, I'm so going to mess this up, but you'll get the point). "Just wanted to be clear, my penis works fine." Man, I knew I should've quoted that yesterday when I had it down pat! At any rate, Arty = Love.

The story with Kurt and his Dad is awesome too. I love how his Dad doesn't get it, and is uncomfortable, but trudges on anyways because he loves his son. Then to show how Kurt reciprocates by blowing the note. Everyone needs a family like that.

House Holy fuck, I cannot express how much I loved this weeks episode. I actually watched it twice! TWICE! I admit, I was worried that the episode was going to go completely Huddy for awhile, but it really turned into an H/W episode, if only for extreme friendship. Even if they're not in love, House and Wilson still love each other. I also appreciate how House is still House even after Mayfield and getting off the Vicodin. Drugging Wilson to save Wilson's career was perfect and that speech? Holy crap! I dare you to tell me that wasn't House saying "I'm sorry, you mean a lot to me and this is my way of saying thank you." Might I add, stellar performances by Hugh Laurie and Robert Sean Leonard? Not that they're not always awesome, especially Hugh, but RSL does drugged up far far too well.

Okay, and what the hell is up with Cuddy? I mean, I don't mind Lucas, and I'm sure as hell happy that she turned down House, but WTF was telling Lucas all of House's deep dark crazy secrets?? It's not even really that she talked to him about it. Everyone tells their significant others things like that. If you can't talk to your partner, who can you talk to? But CHRIST! If you're dating someone like Lucas, tell them outright to use a little discretion! It really showed House's improvement that he didn't react really badly.

P.S. Despite the Huddy, I loved the 80's party. I would've attended in a heartbeat.... wearing my Abe Frohman t-shirt! :D

Okay, I'm totally running out of steam and I'm still missing shows. Maybe, if I'm not too tired tomorrow, I might subject you to my thoughts on Fringe and Flash Forward and maybe even a little Canada's Worst Driver, but then maybe not. No one would ever come visit me if I do! lol!
