How To Keep My Love
from now on, everytime I watch a movie... I'll make my little review. Since I rant about movies after I watch them, this will help the excitement subside. So here's my first try...
K-movie: HOW TO KEEP MY LOVE
KIM JUNG EUN, KIM SANG GYUNG, OH SEUNG HYUN
SUMMARY:
In the film, Kim plays Hyun-ju, a kind-hearted subway worker who is rapidly approaching 30, a psychologically important age - or deadline - for Korean women who want to get married. Although her job is modest and her friends are total losers, Hyun-ju seems happy since she has been with her faithful boyfriend, So-hun (Kim Sang-gyeong) for the past seven years. The only problem is that she doesn't know why her boyfriend has been hesitant to "pop the question." It turns out that there's another drama unfolding for So-hun, a good-looking bug terminator. He works for a company specializing in spotting and eliminating insects, bugs or whatever else may be crawling inside offices or homes.

MY TURN!
I laughed hysterically and cried bucket loads for this movie (that's so cliche). I've heard of this movie before, LIP era, but wasn't interested because 1. I don't know where I can watch this movie and 2. I'm not just interested. So during my free time I watched this (Thank God for YouTube) and it turned out great! KJE did a great job with her role as Hyun-Ju, her acting just comes off naturally. The movie was really funny on the earlier parts mainly 'cause of the crazy, loser-ish antics Hyun-Ju does. The plot keeps it's pace, from laughing out loud you slowly feel the sadness creep to your heart, the next thing you notice, you're already crying. The scenes that made me cry so hard is the friends scenes throughout the movie, they we're really tight. The big tear-jerker for me was the group hug in the latter part of the movie.
FAVORITES:
▪ The picnic scene. I love the lovey-dovey feel of it.
▪ The shooting of the CESCO CF scene. They made Hyun-Ju and her friends ride the roller coaster for 30 times! I love KJE here, she's adorably funny.
▪ The friends group hug scene towards the end. For people who are suckers at drama scenes, get your tissues ready!
