No way I'm sleeping tomorrow night. Theyre forecasting SNOW in the VALLEY. That hasn't happened for over 15 years. Even if it's only a chance, there's no way I'm missing this.

I stared in disbelief when I saw this on weather.com:

Ah, I know the area. Good place to be. I'm still in the same house, between Magnolia and Riverside; Whitsett and Laurel Canyon. Valley Village, technically, 91607. But the Valley Village post office building says North Hollywood.

higher elevations mostly... but it could be anywhere. Snow level dropping to around 1000 feet. The valley is between about 500 and 1000 feet. My house is at about 700. I'm going to stay up all night on Friday.

I'm still in Chicago, and it was 40 fucking degrees out today. 40 degrees! Last week it was more like 60. Last year around this time it was probably around 4 degrees. Back in November we had 8 inches of snow. My mom's daffodils are coming up.

Not that I'm complaining of course. The only thing snow is good for is snow days...and my school doesn't have those.

It was 85º at my house on Monday, but it'll likely get down to about 29º early Saturday morning--the coldest I've ever seen it here. I adore snow. I can't wait to go to college in the East.
