I think I'm going to stop writing in Opinionated. It's just too public, too available to the world. I'll be writing here a lot more often instead, at least until I decide what I want to do with my site.

Some of my entries will most likely be friends only, but if you comment I'll probably end up adding you.

So yeah, I'm pretty much more stressed out now than I've ever been before. I've got so much stuff to get done in the next few days that it's just insane. There are two papers due soon (psych and sociology), both of which are worth a seriously massive portion of the class mark (and both of which I've hardly even started, which is just not like me); ( Read more... )

Did I just get asked out? By the guy I've had a crush on for ages?

I think I must be dreaming. Things like this don't happen to me, do they?

So yesterday I got my first stats midterm back, and I spent about an hour in shock and another two hours or so crying over the inexplicable "F" before realizing that the prof screwed up the marking and that I did not, in fact, fail. Let that be a lesson to me to actually double check the prof's basic addition before having a panic attack.

Pompous people bother me. Which is probably why I started yelling at a middle aged woman after she parked the front bumper of her car directly against the rear bumper of my parents' car on the deck of the ferry and proceeded to act utterly unconcerned, telling me that bumpers ought to be able to handle "this kind of thing; there's nothing to get ( Read more... )

I'm just glad this week is finally done. It's been one stressful thing after another, and I feel like I've been riding an emotional roller coaster for the past seven days.

I'm heading over to Vancouver for the weekend to visit family, which will hopefully be a nice alternative to staring down at the pages of a textbook.
