I know Songbird just launched a non-beta version recently, which is a multiplatform/open source music client put out by the Mozilla people.

Haven't used it myself, but from the website it looks similar-ish to iTunes (sometimes even blatantly derivative), at least in the form factor. It looks like the program has a pretty robust selection of add-ons and options beyond those of iTunes, though.
