I totally know what you mean. I have a lot of friends, most of whom I do not see very often, they are busy, I am busy, etc etc But only a very few I can really count on. When did people become so undependable? When did I become so untrusting?

Anyway, just a reminder that friends come in many forms. Even virtual.

But personally,I am not shrinking, I am expanding. Nothing like sitting on your ass reading books all the time. And the poverty and lack of time makes cheap processed convenient calorie-laden food the only real option. Fast food nation indeed.

Oh my... could you relate any better? I've been reading a bit lately too, wonderful stories of Sisyphus and other such myths. Wait//expansion. I've found myself combing through nutrition charts online, looking for the cheapest, healthiest processed foods out there.

ps. Thanks for the reminder. ;)

Camus has a really interesting take on the myth of Sisyphus. You might like it. For some reason, your malaise seems decidedly Camusienne.

Did you ever find out which processed food were the healthiest?

You are decidedly astute. One must imagine Sisyphus happy. -Albert Camus

As for the healthiest, nope, but a Chicken Whopper, no mayo, with a side of honey mustard fits in the protein diet(not to be confused with Atkins). I don't think taco bell burritos are that harmful either, if you don't consider the cheese.
