An ever-updating checklist I need to accomplish within the next month:

1. Figure out food ideas for my vegan dinner and games night on Sunday

How much Spanish do you want to learn? A month isn't a lot of time.

The basics. I have lots of books and oodles of free time doing nothing. :) I'm travelling to Mexico for 7 months at the end of January. So I need - bare minimum - to get the basics of conversation, preferably more.

The only problem is that I'm not accustomed to Latin-based languages. I'm from a Germanic speaking background. So concepts will be difficult to learn. I know dutch, and can easily pick up German, etc. But French/Italian/Spanish? :S

I do want to learn a bit of Finnish too, but that's another non-priority initiative.

why cleanse gmail? I never delete anything. it has been helpful.. I love their search function.

As do I! But I have a few hundred useless ones that really just waste space. And that offer no information for me in the future. I also have to categorize it, which will take some time... currently I have about >2k un-labelled mail.
