my one and onlyy is: East Village Radio - Nathan Salsburg's "Root Hog or Die"

He's plays a wide wide range of rare blues(all the best, porch-type, band, etc etc) traditional, cultural, some indian, some coutry(the good kind with banjos and stomping!), and so many more loads of genuine, scratchy vinyl wonderful! it's so good i think you might really like it.

i'm sort of addicted to podcasts. almost anything NPR, and i'm there. specifically "all songs considered" which is great.

indiefeed which is a music podcast, they play a single song each one and sometimes give a little background about it before or after it plays.

and (drumroll please) the podcast of the radio program that i often credit keeping me alive and not so depressed, This American Life.

being that you're in chi-town you have the opportunity to listen to it live on the radio which makes me a little jealous. though, here in new orleans we have our fair share of amazing things (lots of Iron Chef America contestants, and Voodoo) so I guess it doesn't merit complaint.

re: pictures -- her eyes are so blue, did you use a filter or touch them up by hand, or are they naturally that blue?

the only clip i have is called "Out of Body, Roger" by Radio Lab from WNYC New York Public Radio.
it's all about pilot trainings and recreatings of natural occurances when traveling at such high g-forces.
they ran tests on a centrifuge to duplicate what occurs.
the voices of the testimonials and the sounds and real recordings fascinate me.
