Still waiting for the appointment with the neurologist
After meeting with the ophthalmologist, I learned that I don't have glaucoma, or cataracts, or any other diseases of the eyes or problems with the eyes. Went to FN today
Got to see an RN, talk to one of their financial people that got the recommendations from the neurologist transferred over for a fraction of the original fee that they wanted up front.
To sum up: the Opthamological test will be later this month and the Lumbar Puncture is still on for Monday.

Bummed out this morning
Another temp agency called today and offered me a job. One with a good pay rate and long term placement. (That was the third one this month.) I had to turn them down as I cannot take a job until I know what is wrong with me and how to treat it. I feel like an invalid. I guess on the plus side I can say that there will be work when I'm able to get -

I can't see properly, but there's two of you there, stacked askew on top of each other. Everyone is a Picasso (to me) for as long as these symptoms last. Think about that. Update on Illness
I went to the gp's office today to get a referral for a thyroid exam. I had to pay $100 upfront to have her tell me that I had shaky hands and that was another symptom of hypothyroidism ( Read more... ) -
My mother is an idiot
My mom called me today to check and see how I was doing. Presumably she spoke to my brother who knew through facebook about my migraine and eye troubles. I believe her hearing is going because I had to shout for most of the phone call. And there was the added bonus that she has the tact and prima facia understanding of events much like a 5 year old ( Read more... ) -
Still having the double vision and stuff
So, the latest from the neurologist is that there are spots on my brain that could indicate MS and that I have lots of thyroid activity. Both of which could cause the migraines and the double vision. But their not sure and are still going to do the spinal tap on the 14th. I also have two doctor's appt's on Tuesday ( Read more... ) -
Wont be posting for a while
R took me to the Er yesterday to get checked out for a horrible headache that is a migraine that's taken most of my vision. I can't see straight. The images are stacked on top of each other. The ER doctor said that it was the first time her ever heard of anyone having those kind of symptoms. My head has pounding all day even with the vicodin. R ( Read more... )
