You find him slumped over the bar and he was clinging onto it for dear life. You approach the bar and the bartender looks at you, relieved.

"He's a sleeping drunk, your friend..."

You blush in embarrassment and poke Changmin in the side. The younger stirs and blinks his eyes, adjusting to the dim light.

"Jaejoongie hyung~?"

Your lips curve into a wry smile at the sound of the slight high toned lilt at the end of his sentence. You think that he is such an adorable drunk as you lift him up on his feet.

You ask gently, "You think you can handle standing on your feet a little?"

He nods his head and a little of his entire 6' 1" weight is off of your shoulders. The both of you manage, by a miracle, to stumble out of the bar safely.

The journey to the taxi you had waiting for you seems to take forever but you get there, shoving Changmin unceremoniously into the backseat of the taxi.

The ride is silent except for the low hum of the radio and the broken singing from the driver.

You pull your cap away from your face, confident that no one will recognize you in the darkness of the night. You turn to look over at the man beside you. His head was leaning against your shoulder and his lips are slightly parted, chest heaving gently in slumber.

That reminds you of what you couldn't do this entire night.

It was a rare occurrence but the five of you had free time after your packed schedules.

Yunho left for the gym.

Junsu went out for dinner with some of the Super Junior family.

Yoochun, with a wide grin on his face, went to the music store with a full wallet.

And that left you and Changmin at home.

Of course, when you woke from a well deserved nap, Changmin was gone. The others came in late around 12 but that did nothing to ease your mind.

What could that kid be doing out there all by himself?

Could he be with some of his old friends?

Did he eat dinner yet?

Or was he so busy stuffing his face down at Apgujongdong that he forgot the time?

Was he meeting with his secret girlfriend?

That last thought echoed in your mind at home and when Yunho insisted that you got to bed, you shrugged him off and sat on the sofa, your eyes trained on the door like a watchdog.

The small hand of the clock was barely on the three when your cell phone rings. It was the bartender, explaining that a friend of yours is passed out in his bar, muttering your name sporadically.

And so you find yourself here, in the backseat of a taxi with the drunk mangnae, the eternal baby of Dong Bang Shin Ki.

"10 dollars for you, buddy," the driver says. You are so lost in your thoughts that you don't realize that you've stopped. You dig your wallet out of your back pocket and shove a twenty into the driver's hand.

"Keep the change," you grunt as you pull Changmin out of the taxi. You watch the taxi drive away and you curse the fact that Changmin has long limbs as you trudge along the path.

"Hyung~?"

That lilt brings another smile on your face as you peer over, "Hmm?"

Changmin looks up at you, "Do we have to go home?" You nod your head yes and you keep moving, Changmin's legs dragging slightly against the pavement.

Suddenly, Changmin pulls away from you and wobbles. You reach out to grab him but he slaps your hand away.

"I'm going to play~!"

He runs off towards the playground and your jaw drops as he sits down on the swing. He propels himself off of the ground with his legs and on his face is an expression of contentment.

Your shoulders sag as you walk towards him, "Changmin-ah, we have things to do tomorrow." You pause in your step, shivering at the realization that you sound exactly like your mother.

"Hyung~" he giggles. You sit at the swing next to him.

"Hyung~!" he smiles again. You stare at him as if he were crazy. Because he is. Except not because all he is actually is drunk.

"Hyung..." the smile fades from his lips and he stops swinging, burying his feet in the woodchips.

Changmin whispers, "Hyung, why is love so hard?"

You blink. Love? It's been so long that you've hear love in anyone's vocabulary that it shocks your system. If you wanted to hear about love, you would go to Yoochun or at least Yunho but Changmin?

"All I wanted was a sparkling love, a love that burns everything to the ground and leaves behind just the two of us. Why is that hard?" he mutters.

Your mouth opens and closes like a fish out of water. And you feel like a fish out of water; you have no idea how to respond to this.

Changmin slips away from the swing and kneels before you. His eyes are hazy with intoxication and you lick your lips nervously.

"Hyung, love me like that?" he asks.

Your jaw drops.

You'll be the first to admit it, you've thought about it before. You've wondered what it would be like to wooed by Changmin. But you never thought it would be like this, drunken and clumsy. Something sweet and romantic, suave and smooth...

"You know I love you, Changmin," you settle on saying, not trusting your own voice at the moment.

He looks pained, "Not like that, hyung..."

Your eyes remained locked to his for a long time.

Until he has to go and throw up in the bushes behind the swing set.

You wake up at 6 to find Changmin already sitting at the table with a cup of coffee.

You bite your lip before setting foot into the kitchen. Will he remember that he confessed his love to you last night? You've thought about it long and hard and you've decided to leave it to fate.

'If he remembers, then it'll be for real. It won't be just a fluke,' your heart beats rapidly as you enter the kitchen.

He doesn't even lift his head up to greet you.

Your heart drops.

You close your eyes for a moment to collect your thoughts and suppress your disappointment. When you open them, you march immediately towards the refrigerator to begin breakfast.

Your whole body jumps as you feel warm arms wrap around your waist.

A low voice whispers in your ear and you smile when you recognize it, "Hyung~ Let's make sparks."
