Sometimes i wonder how things would've turned out, had i been better.

But we were poetry, not novels.
And i have never had an idea what lies ahead
Or if I'll look back on this and think that i should've been better again, as always.

You seem happier now. I hope you are.
I'm glad you're not sad anymore.
I still have dreams about you all the time.
But i have to trust that this is the way things are supposed to be.
If not, it wouldn't be happening like this.
I'm sorry for everything negative that happened.
And maybe eventually i will forget again.

So here i am.
About 10 years later.
I graduated college with a psychology degree.
I am working toward my master's degree in business administration now. 
Had a "big girl" job for about 3 years. Experienced a lay off and been at my other office job another 3 years in March. Just got a promotion, too.
Been through many break ups and relationships.
