Frequently Asked Questions
Feel free to post your questions here. If answered I will move it to the post and delete your comment. Last updated: Feb.17.06
Q: How do I credit you?
A: I have
simple tutorial or this quick image should help.
you can credit me as either _staynow or fatexsucks
Q: Will you make me an icon?
A: Not unless I have a request post. If you ask outside of a request post then no. I will take
suggestions though. I'm more likely to do then if you provide a picture. :)
Q: Will you do a tutorial if I asked?
A: I haven't been asked before but I would think I would. Just let me know about what and if I can remember how I did something I can try to make one.
Q: Would you like to be an affiliate with my community/journal?
A: Sure, just post that in the
affiliates post here.
Q: Can I use your icons other places besides LJ?
A: Of course. I know some message boards take icon size avatars. Just try to credit me somewhere if you can. Profile or signature its all ok.
Q: Can you edit one of your icons for me?
A: I'm gonna say this is a case by case thing. Depending on the graphic (if I have the PSD file saved) and the way I feel and what you want added. Best way to ask is here or email me _staynow[at]livejournal.com.
Q: Can I edit your icons?
A: Yes and No. I guess the best way to know is to ask. If there's no next and its roughly simple I am more likely to say yes. If the icon is all done up I'm probably going to say no. Ask away and we will see. You can post here or
email me.
Q: May I nominate your icons at award communities?
A: Of course! Love if you let me know so I could check it out.
Q: What program do you use to make your icons?
A: I use Adobe Photoshop 7.0 on my desktop pc.
Q: Do I have to join the community?
A: Not at all! You could just watch it. I may in the future make private members only posts and you will miss those but that is all. You can
join here or just
watch here.
Q: I don't know where to upload your graphics can I just direct link them?
NO!! Please never direct link my graphics. (unless for award communities). It costs me money and just really isn't fair. If you need a place to host images these are some great ones:
Photobucket,
imageshack &
tinypic
