Beautiful. And very believable!

This is a good example to all the people that assume just because Jack left, it means he's never coming back. I don't look it that way. I think he will eventually be able to return, and see Gwen again, and be happy enough. Whether that's by just coming to terms with the loss, or slightly forgetting about it all to a degree I don't know, but it can make sense. It made sense in this fic that's for sure :)

Yes I can see Jack coming back. I think it would take him a long time, he was very hurt and he's lost so much over just a few short years that he needs time to heal and to forget. I think he'd need some kind of push though, because the longer you're gone for the harder it is to come back in a way, but of course the Doctor was on hand to provide that this time.
