Still, I guess in a way we got the best deal. If we were older and already graduated, then we'd be out either doing something to aid the war effort or trying to ignore it, which would be scary, and if we were younger then we wouldn't know how to defend ourselves at all if we were attacked. At least now we're old enough to know a few good hexes, and we're still in the safest place we could be for another whole year.
But it's horrible that a war has to happen at all.

I know what you're saying, kind of. Sometimes I hate being so young and I'm not sure I could defend myself if push came to shove. Whatever happened to Defence professors like Professor Lupin?
And the war scares me. Sometimes I think it would have been better if I was just a Muggle and didn't know any better.

Sorry to scare you, Stacey. If it helps, I really do think we're safe in the Castle. If anything did happen I'm sure we'd be able to protect ourselves. This is a castle after-all. As long as there are no more secret-passages containing invincible petrifying snakes, zombies, ogres, boggarts, dementors and dragons, we should be fine.
Okay--okay, I've frightened myself. Deep breath. Maybe we just shouldn't think about it.
