i'm always the last one to hear the news, so i knew about this accident just because my friend told me. gosh, if they KNEW there were risks, why did they build an underground there anyway? just to cut down the costs? and probably to say: "during my government we did this, this and this". i won't comment.
i feel sorry for the victims and their families, that have NOTHING to do with all this crap.

and one more thing: can you please explain to me what does "FTW" mean? cuz i've already seen it in many foreigner's ljs but i didn't know the meaning. thanks.

I heard about the news right away. I was at home, eating lunch and watching Chocolate com Pimenta (xD), when they first talked about that.
The whole thing is just ridiculous, every moment they find more evidence that the construction was already labelled as risky. It's so silly. As you said, it was probably to be used as somebody's campaign.

It all disappoints me to no end.

Oh, and FTW = For The Win.
According to the Urban Dictionary, it means:
An enthusiastic emphasis to the end of a comment, message, or post. Sometimes genuine, though often mocking, in jest or sarcastic.

Originated with the game show Hollywood Squares where the result of the player's response is expected to win the game.

(I have to admit, the Hollywood Squares thing is new to me haha)

Oh, how nice of you! *hugs*
Yeah, hopefully, it wasn't around my neighborhood. But I still feel so bad about these people.

That's so idiotic that they did nothing about it when it was obvious that it was coming D:

unfortunately, that's how our government deals with things. Or better yet, not deal with things.
