yo chillins i am departing to Vancouver, British Columbia on Friday, December 17th until Friday, January 2nd. so two weeks. Since my mom doesn't have internet I probably won't update or check anything too often until I get back

obviously, it's not going to be the same here as it is in canada. but basically you should try to take 6 decent-quality sketchbooks to the interview, and get your work mounted up on worksheets, so you have a neat and tidy portfolio. try to have different pieces with different media if possible, they like different media.

we're expected to basically work all the time and be 24/7 visual artists - always having a camera & sketchbook with us. of course no-one actually does that apart from maybe all the 60 year old students we have but yeah it's a good idea.

I SEE...hmm...that may be a bit of a problem seeing how i hardly touch my sketchbooks anymore so the bulk of my sketches would be very old and crap; I mostly sketch in photoshop now. oh dear, I better start working on that
