To be emotionally validated it to feel that the other person has heard you, really understands what you are saying, and accepts it as true for you. We can do this for each other, and we can also do this for ourselves.

As a survivor, have you ever felt validated for your experiences and how they have affected you?

Have you ever felt invalidated instead?

How has this validation or invalidation, affected you?

invalidation, thought stirring post
