...I just received a belated Christmas present of the most sensational time. My family knows a very talented artist who makes all sorts of interesting dolls, and for Christmas my mother commissioned her to make me a very special set. The results are under the cut.

those are amazing! i've been waiting on a pair of sweeney todd/mrs. lovett (from the broadway production) dolls for a couple years from http://www.stubbychubby.com, but daaaamn, these have so much detail it's ridiculous. congrats on an amazing gift!

Oh my goodness, those are incredible. I actually collect dolls myself and have surfed around a couple of times looking for custom Sweeneys, but these are hands-down the most amazing I've seen. Look at the detail! Squee. And how lovely of your mother to have them done for you - they'll always be special because of that. :)
