Tai-San and Siva:Tai-San's Room

Oct 21, 2004 17:41

Tai-San limped as quickly as possible away from The Main Cafe, but her grip on her shoes was getting tighter and tighter, her knuckles were turning white as she tried to grasp onto the pain and use it to propell her forward. Cursing under her breath, Tai-San had just gotten to the Extra Cafe area when someone sidled up next to her and wrapped their ( Read more... )

As they walked into the room, Siva had half a mind to turn around and run out, but she couldn't make herself move. The room looked... well it looked a bit run-down. They couldn't give Tai-San a better room than this?

She shook her head slowly and surveyed the room. WOW.

When Tai-San asked her to stay, however, she didn't think about how the room looked. She gave her a small smile and plopped down next to her on the mattress, taking care not to hit her ankle. "Chat? What about?"

Siva didn't want to chat. As wrong as it was, she wanted to do more. Tai-San was like a drug... a drug she wanted to take.

Tai-San felt her spirits lift as Siva stayed, flopping next to her and being agreeable. Shrugging she shook her head a bit and picked at the cuticle of her thumb with her forefinger, "I don't know," she finally said with a bit of a laugh, "I suppose I just don't want to be alone. You don't really have to stay, I'm really tired, but I thought some conversation, not relating to Zandra or the Hen's night or anything would be nice," she looked at her with a tilted glance.

"Sometimes, do you ever think that this is all VR Siva? That, someone has strapped us into the black room, and no matter how much of a reality you want it to be, or not be, you can't stop it? Like you're going crazy?" Ram had used Siva and Java in VR enough, had it affected them the way Mega was affecting her with it? Was it easy for them to never go back to it, to let it go and walk away, to tell reality from non-reality?

Siva frowned at the mention of VR. "I'm not sure I know what you mean..." VR? That was a pretty random thing to chat about.

Had Tai-San been playing the game... "Tai-San... you're not, you know, playing are you?" Siva only felt like she was going crazy that one time Ram locked her in VR and scared her half to death. She didn't think it was safe for anyone to be playing. Not anyone.

"Oh, oh no, no I'm not playing the game," she replied instantly with a bit of a flourished shake. "I just, when I was a Techno, I played a lot in Paradise, I just wondered if you felt like it'd left something behind in your brain, something you couldn't shake," she explained, looking away. She pulled her crochetted shawl off of her, leaving her just wearing her pants and camisole tank, "It doesn't matter, I'm sure with meditation and time, I will be back to my regular self and these feelings will leave me. It's just, times like this," she motioned absently in the direction of the Mall, indicating the Zandra situation vaguly, "they kind of make me wonder things," she added with a shrug ( ... )
