In the twilight of Andre Agassi's career, a look backward-- and inward. The most amazing bit of writing I've read recently.

Read read read-- it's so good.

And even more compelling in the light of the fact that in the first two rounds alone, he has played upward of seven hours. He has to fight his way through, tooth and racket.

Wow. Thanks so much for the link! You're right, it's an extraordinary piece of writing. And even more amazing that Agassi's answers lent themselves the way they did to the way it was written.

Thanks for posting that! It was mentioned during his first round match, but not being a SI reader, I hadn't known about it, so I was disappointed to have missed it.

It was a great story, wonderfully written and such a good insight into what really makes Andre who he is today. I wouldn't have thought it possible beforehand, but I came away from the article admiring him even more than I already did. I also enjoyed the bits about Steffi. I had no idea he had pined over her like that. Very sweet.

Thank you so very much for sharing the link! I'd missed the magazine and certainly didn't want to miss that read. (I was planning to go to a second-hand book store and dig through copies of SI to find it...)

Much appreciated.

He's an amazing man and I'm so enjoying his play during this U.S. Open so far...

Hi, I'm sorry to barge in on your community but I have a question.
Do you think you or anyone in this or any community dedicated to Tennis and tennis player would be interested in buying US Open Tennis balls (they'r collectables)?
