Yes, but how would you be blindfolded? I can only imagine such a situation if you were captured and your captors would surely rid you of your weapon.

Well, I suppose I may not be blindfolded -- but my sight may be impaired at any time due to weather or injuries. It is a great skill to be able to use weapons using ALL of your senses -- not just sight.
