Matt, I am a soon to be Traditional Chinese Medicine & Accupuncture student. I am going for a bachelors which I plan on maybe extending into a doctors degree. I have been studying it for a while now, it's characteristics and how it works. Trust me when I tell you it can cure anything. By anything, I mean things that western medicine deems uncureable such as ulcers, cold viruses, lymphonitis, and yes even cancer. There is a famous Kung Fu chik who had cancer and was cured of it and her life saved through the use of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). How is it capable of this? Rather simple, it uses the Taoist theory of Yin/Yang and elements. So with all these, they are able to classify certain things "like excess heat yang invading the spleen" and then can counter act it with dampness and yin. You could call it simply the Balance theory. I am certain that TCM and Accupuncture can help her out. If you have any ques, I am always willing to help
