Setting: The Coquet's Ireland Home
Characters: Nicky, Evie, Teddy (NPC), Petey (NPC), (open to Tobias)
Summary: Summer fun, Coquet style. And don't hate on the lyrics, I will defend my muppets.
Evelyn had fallen asleep on the sofa during the movie. None of her brothers had wanted to move her after the long day. Their parents had taken a weekend to themselves. Petey, the recently graduated Coquet boy, was in charghe.
Which meant, movies, and a pinic....
After a squirt gun/water balloon fight in the front yard, so as not to spook the horses in the barn.
Evie wasn't suppose to participate. But after Petey and Teddy decided to double teamed Nicky, she had to do something.
So warm baths were on the agenda. While Petey charmed the front yard dry, Nicky, wiped down the entry hall, main hall, and kitchen. Everything that had gotten wet for refills, until Evie came out and turned on the hose. Teddy had Poss in the tub, filled with bright colored bubbles.
The large fluffy towel had been charmed warm by Petey, before Teddy wrapped it around his sister. She kicked him out of the bathroom, "I can do it myself, Theodore," she said as she shut the door.
She curled up in one of Petey's shirts from his bag. Teddy had yet to do the laundry like he was supposed to. Pete's bag, was all he had left at home, having recently moved into his dorm for the fall. Nicky and Teddy had their own rooms now, Evie, as the only girl had her own room, since she could remember.
The shirt was a bright green, and labeled with a cute zoo, Evelyn thought. Wild Willy's Heavy Petting Zoo, but Evie liked the color, so Pete let her wear it. He made her go back upstairs and get her blanket, knowing she would fall asleep first.
In fact they weren't even to the fire swamp in the Princess Bride, before she fell asleep. The boys switched the movies, watching Gladiator instead.
When Teddy and Nicky started to drift off, after several movies, Petey made them go to bed. He didn't move Poss, just tucked her in with several more blankets, shutting down the lights, and he went to curl up in her bed.
The light of the early morning slowly crept into the window, and Evie woke up. But Petey had tucked her in too tightly. She couldn't move. Looking around she whimpered when she couldn't find anyone. It was an hour later when a sleepy eyed Nicky came down, rubbing his eyes, looking for breakfast.
"Help?" she asked softly, when Nicky waved Morning.
