And I definitely appreciate you're input on the prices. What do you think would be a fair price for them? I've got to factor in the costs of the materials I use (ink and magnetic paper, mostly, but also regular paper, pens, pencils, and color pencils). Sadly, the cheapest magnetic paper I've found is $7.20 a sheet. While I can print more than one magnet per sheet, it's definitely skews the price higher than I'd like.
I'm trying for a $7 for one, $12 for two and $15 for three model, but since this is a set of four, it ends up calculated as two $12 sets.
I know what you mean bout the magnetic sheets! Woah, are they expensive!
But it would seem that you could fit all 4 on 1 sheet. What about scanning your drawings so that you can print them out to sell more. I'm sure that for them being hand-drawn, it's taken a looong time to make them, as one-offs.
I'd think maybe $10-15 for the set. But, if they sell, that shows that I'm a moron (or at least not good at pricing *G*). ;)
Ahaha, oh, they are scanned and printed out. These aren't the originals. (Goodness me!) So I can get all four on one sheet. I've had some success selling some of my Doctor Who magnets at this price, though I'm always open to suggestions and am willing to tweak the price. I think the $22 price tag is a bit weird. I certainly don't think it means you're a moron or bad at a pricing! If they were officially licensed magnets I'd think $22 for four magnets was too much, too. And maybe I do have the priced too high. I've only recently started trying to sell stuff. But for an independent seller who draws, prints and cuts them all out individually, I guess I feel the price is a bit more understandable.
Still, I am definitely taking into consideration all suggestions, so I really do appreciate it. I mean, I'd rather sell them at $15 a pop vs. not selling any at $22, etc.
:D :D Thank you so much. I recently took a bunch of the Doctor Who magnets to Gallifrey One (big Doctor Who convention) and the new Who stuff sold quite well. I wish I'd brought more Daleks and TARDISes. XD
