my dad has a lump of cancer on his liver. it's about an inch in diameter. they are going to try removing it and see if that gets rid of all of it. if it doesn't, there are other options to try to get rid of it. i hope nothing happens to him because i love the shit out of that guy.

I'm really sorry. But you're right, there are lots of options for treatment - they've made leaps and bounds in oncology over the past decade. I hope everything turns out okay.

P.S. My Aunt is in remission from breast cancer. She went through chemo and everything. It's really hard, but staying positive is a great help to you and to the person. My best advice is to find out all the options, and stay positive.

he goes to the liver surgeon on monday and he will tell him when. they are think of first doing another biopsy, and i'm wondering why they don't just get rid of it then, but i'm sure they went to school for this so i'll leave it to them. they are going to take it out first and see how that does. the doctor today said that he has a good chance so i'm going with that.
