my grandma passed away tuesday night. in the few days since then, i haven't really been sure how to feel. my parents told my brother and i that she had been turning for the worse on sunday, so we went and visited her. it was so shocking and sad to see her in a hospital bed again. i felt so numb afterward. all i wanted to do was get rid of said

Also, you get bereavment pay for the days you missed, right?

i would, i believe, but i actually never missed any days. i just switched days with my other night shift person. i'm gonna ask about taking a day or two of bereavement.

Sorry for your loss. I heard a lot of good things about her from Sammy and Loren. I don't know how I would feel if my only grandparent died, she has been an amazing person in my life. Look atit this way, only a couple weeks left of school so stick in there and let it out. Let it out to those you trust.

yeah, school shouldn't be too hard to finish up, thankfully. this semester has been one of the best for me. it's just shitty timing. but that's life sometimes. anyway, thanks for the thoughts, lainey.
