What haunts you/what has come back to haunt you?
Nothing haunts me. Point in fact, I'm usually the one doing the haunting. Not so much the Casper the friendly ghost kind of haunting. More with the Poltergeist, head spinning around, raising hell, scaring the crap out of people kind of haunting.
Some of lesser understanding would call me more of a troublesome spirit that enjoys terrorizing people. But again, I'm far beyond any run of the mill ghost. I can do a hell of allot more than make scary faces or go boo to frighten youngsters on Halloween. I'm a master of psychological warfare. I'm an expert at messing with people's minds. I'm good at tormenting poor fools with their past failings. Haunting them with their worse nightmares.
In a nutshell, nothing haunts such a malevolent being as the source of all evil. I am beyond any guilts or worries. Beyond human weaknesses. Such fears are for those with a guilty conscience. Allowing oneself to be haunted by the past is a waste of time. Like I've said before, all the matters is the here and now. Whatever came before is over. Like a book you've already read. It's a waste of time to re-read the same story again. And an even bigger waste of time to be haunted about a past that can't be changed.
