I'm not much for the gifts. Matter of fact, if I ever did give someone a gift. It would be a pretty good sign that I'd turned over a new leaf. And that is something I don't ever plan on doing.
Gift's are totally over-rated anyway. Most gifts are craptastic. Really, if someone is gonna go through the trouble of giving a gift. You'd think they'd put a bit more effort into it. Make sure they give something you actually want. And not something that will never see the light of day. Seriously, how many people get a gift they hate. Or get something that's ugly. Or a gift that is totally useless. Pet rocks anyone. And lets not even get into neck ties, or socks. Holiday themed gifts are also very cheesy and worthless 364 days of the year. Nobody is gonna wear a Christmas sweater after Christmas. Heck, unless your talking about Ned Flanders, they don't even wanna wear it before or during the holiday.
So, I say don't bother giving anyone gifts. It is a total waste of time. First off, it wastes your money. Secondly, it wastes your time picking out a gift. Third, it is usually stressful trying to decide what to get. Fourth, it is usually impossible to find a gift that the person actually wants. I could go on, but think I've made my point. If you do get a gift, make sure it includes the receipt to return it. And in closing, I say it's always best to tell everyone to not bother with gifts, and just give you cold hard cash. Cause tax free money, money, money is the only gift that you can never get enough of.
