Fear
Some old guy in a wheelchair once said we have nothin' to fear, but fear itself. Well being the First Evil. I am fear itself. And as fear itself, I can say that I fear nothin'. I fear no one. I do not fear time. I do not fear death. I do not fear the future. While everyone good or bad fears me. While they fear their own mortality. They fear the unknown.
Truth be told, everyone has fears. Some fears are silly. Like there is actually people that fear cute little fuzzy bunnies. And there are people that are afraid of clowns. Yet most people do not share those silly phobias like Anya and Xander.
Others have more rational fears. Such as being afraid of the dark. Given that there is allot of bad things out in the dark. That is not necessarily an unwarranted fear. It's actually a good fear to have.
Unlike those who think they are fearless. The risk taker. The adventurer. The kind of person that will do the most dangerous things, like jumpin' out of planes, or trying to climb the most deadly of mountains. They would be wise to have a little more fear. Cause too little fear can lead to bad things. Such as serious injuries, or an early death.
So I would say it is better to be more fearful. It is better to be cautious, and not do stupid things. It is better to be afraid of most dangerous things than to fear nothing. Like they say, it is better to be a live chicken, than a dead duck. Or somethin' like that.
