Shortcut.
Seeing that I am not a good guy or hero type. It goes without saying that my views on taking a shortcut will be different from some goody two shoes. I'm no virtuous or morally righteous person. I'm no Superman.
So yeah, shortcuts are usually viewed as something bad or wrong. Shortcuts are taking the easy way out. Like those who don't take the time or effort to study for a test at a school. They have two options. They can do the so called right thing and fail the test. Or they can do what is necessary to succeed and take a shortcut by cheating.
Another example is someone that embellishes or lies on a resume to improve their chances of getting a job. Yes that is wrong and not fair to those who don't take such underhanded shortcuts. But whether people want to admit it or not. Everyone takes shortcuts every so often. Some smaller than others. But everyone does it. And the simple reason for that is because its a hell of allot easier to take shortcuts. So whatever others choose to do. Whether they choose the hard way to do things. Or whether they choose the easy way. I'm gonna continue to take shortcuts. Cause shortcuts make tough problems a little less tough.
Cause despite the old saying about cheaters never winning. The truth is that cheaters always win.
