The baby thing can actually be worse in canon. I watch In Plain Sight and the upcoming season has gone the baby route and if the casting sides we've seen so far are anything to go by (why yes, I'm such a spoiler whore I read casting sides) they are doing everything WRONG!
Oh, and have you seen the Swedish vernon of the movie. It was starker/more graphic and with fewer pretty people but i liked it better.
Uuuughh. I love babies but I do not love babies + entertainment (movies or TV).
Also, turns out I couldn't see the movie anyway. Fire alarm went off about 30 minutes in and then they closed the theater for the night. I'll look into seeing the Swedish version, too, though! Thanks :)
I do have to make a conscious effort to control my rage sometimes, but the Mike and Harvey scenes are pretty funny. I haven't decided if I slash them yet, but either way I think they're great together. I am also amused by how Gabriel Macht always looks like he's trying not to smile/laugh.
Also, I'm only about halfway through the season, so I may decide by the end that I can't do it. Also also, Mike trips my embarrassment squick SO HARD which sometimes makes it difficult to watch.
Yes! The romanticizing and the fact that the child is just written incorrectly (the fic I'm talking about has a baby that's maaaaaaybe 3 months old (at best) and this kid is being propped up on the adult's hip (nope), sees and reacts to a bottle (nope, other than the rooting reflex (or habit by this point)), and grabs deliberately for the caretaker's face (just no)).
I don't mind stories where kids are part of canon, but I still can't do it if the kid is written wrong developmentally. I guess that's my biggest issue, really.
I love both Suits and Sherlock! And Mike only screws up so Harvey will spank him *g*. Remember that when you're watching and it all makes perfect sense!

Personally, I can't stand it, because OMG NO RESPONSIBLE LAWYER WOULD EVER. WHY, HARVEY?
(That, and I don't see the slash that everyone else does.)
