So...I want to sign up for a big bang (hawaii-bigbang to be specific). I've never done one before. In fact, I've only ever done one challenge/exchange type thing before. Ever. This big bang is only 10,000 words minimum, as opposed to 40,000 or 50,000, and I have an idea, but I'm not sure if it's a 10k words idea. I've actually already started it (lets not ( Read more... )

I signed up for that one. In the hopes that it will get me to finish the epic WIP that's been going since last may. (though totally unpublished as of yet.)

well I have about 40k written, but only about 32 that are still part, and I expect to cut it down a bit more. But then I have to write the end.

I printed it out so I can redpen the shit out of it. I like editing by hand (but it's 75 pages right now)

I've only got about 1k written, but a solid idea of where I want to go. If not how to get there. But. Holy shit! You go, girl!

Also, I love editing by hand. No idea why, since I prefer typing everything else.

Ooooooo!! I'm glad you mentioned that because I signed up for a 40k big bang last year and never finished the fic and it's already 11k words. YAY!

Yes, ouch. Not the worst bruise I've ever had (and as far as placement goes, probably the best because it's almost impossible to hit your inner forearm on anything), but irritating nonetheless.

I have a wretched headache, that I suspect has to do with the weather or allergies and it will not go away, but I have a warm lap cat and a good book and really should not complain!

Can't hurt to try! If you don't manage, that's just fine, too, you can pull out. It's a good way to challenge yourself, though.
