This is the application thread. In the immortal words of Heidi Klum: You're either in, or you're out.

If this works and becomes a repository of goodfic (and not just H/W either -- I'm all about the gen myself), I will love you forever.

Not applying myself since I haven't written any Housefic yet, but I will surely poke lizbee to apply.

A bit confused. How does one apply? Submit something? Post something? List my CV for fanfic? (once a prolific purveyor of --I thought--quality X-files fanfic; published writer of other, non-fictional stuff, novelist wannabe)

In, with reservations. "Mnemonics" is the best one there. "All Left" has a good concept, but you didn't carry it far enough for the emotions to come through on their own.

Okay, I'm going to make myself look like an idiot by asking a very newbish question. What does betaed mean? Sorry if this isn't the place to ask but I've been wondering for awhile.

Betaed means that you've had it looked over and picked apart by someone other than yourself. Sort of like an editor. Betaing can range from spelling-checking and grammar-checking (because MS Word is evil), to canon and characterization-nitpicking. Betas are good things to have. They make the world go round.
