Rest...

May 05, 2003 15:08

If the Almighty could take a day of rest from his toils, I do believe that the mighty Ray Charles brigade and I may do the same.

It is our day of rest. The preparations are going quite smoothly, and I want to enjoy the fruits of my labor. Delectable, tender, sweet and juicy fruit.

It is a pleasure when a plan comes together.

And right you are Justine, Buffy is a hero of truly mythic proportions, she has fought many villians including a powerful vampire and a hell god, and she still lives, even though she died twice. Buffy is supposed to live because she has a destiny to fulfill and I have a feeling that this final battle with The First is it. Buffy represents everything you fear, doesn't she Caleb? She is strong, intelligent and most importantly she controls the fate of the world and your own life. She has the power and you had to become some psuedo-diety's bitch to have what she has. It is for her alone to wield, not you Caleb.
On a different note Justine why don't you come to Sunnydale to help Buffy and her army, you might not be a Slayer but I am pretty sure that they would welcome an experienced fighter like you in their ranks. Give it a thought, will you?

You know what going to visit Sunnydale might not be such a bad idea after all with Jasmine gone things are starting to wind down here in L.A. I'll see what I can do...

I am not afraid of the slayer and what she represents. The fact that both slayers have come to meet their destinies with me, has brought me a joy beyond this realm.

Your admiration of the one and only slayer is interesting. Misguided but interesting.

Interesting how some people seem to have forgotten the fact that because the Slayer lives these things have been allowed to come to pass. The balance has been shifted. And she did not survive the hell god. She died. The selfishness of her "friends" is the reason she is here now, nothing more.

But never the less...step carefully, Caleb. I'm not sure what it is I'm sensing but something is not right.....

Sorry to break it to you hun, but she kicked the crap out of Glory. The hell god did not have anything to do with her death, her death was to save the world without sacrificing her sister.

Oh I know that. Never said she didn't beat the crap out of Glory. Point was she didn't survive. She died.

Justine, you should totally go to Sunnydale and be the everywoman, you know the girl without the powers that still manages to kick butt. And Buffy is special and I think that is evident because she has friends that were powerful enough to raise her from the dead. Maybe it was all supposed to happen so she could destroy The First Evil, anyone ever consider that? Or maybe her friends have destinies too, I doubt that Willow would just be a college bookworm if Buffy never came to Sunnydale. She has power, Buffy just help bring it out along with Jenny R.I.P, Giles and Tara R.I.P. As for you Caleb, I could see why any man would be happy knowing that his fate involves two beautiful and nubile young women. Just out of curiousity, what do you think about Faith?
