Yes, but the fact is, the vast majority of people who post about how much their lives suck are merely trying to evoke an emotion of pity from others who read the posts. I mean, honestly, how many posts have you ever seen that say, "Oh, I had a horrible day, I wanna go kill myself...." that haven't been overwhelmed with comments such as, "You are awesome, don't do it" and "Feel better" and "I'm sorry your day was so bad." Now take the time to reflect on that thought.
See, i don't think that entirely. Maybe by one person saying "I love you, it'll be all right!!!!" that will keep the person from committing suicide. You never know.... people have to stop being so judgemental. If you have a problem with some one saying "My day was shitty ... i wish I were dead", then take them off your friends list.
Yeah ... But if you really don't care enough about them to the point that you take them off your friends list because you think there live journal is lame, then why are you friends with them in the first place?!
:-/ I'll admit,I can being very dramatic and immature at times. But maybe if everyone stops at a whole (which is highly unlikely) then maybe we could have a few moments of peace for once.
If it's going to cause a ruccus, you could try not posting the entry where everyone can see it.
I don't know what you mean by constructive feedback, but if it means "Oh my gosh I love you so much don't be sad", then you've about hit the nail on the head. Usually no one puts anything more than a little shoutout about how much love is in the air and it should have been recognized by now.
If you're looking to be held up on a pedestal for every move you make regardless of whether we agree with it or not, you're looking for a bunch of fake friends. I personally believe we should have the right to disagree with you; I'm not going to blindly follow your lead because you said so on livejournal.
If honesty yields lame ass...ism, then I wanna be a lame ass friend. It certainly sounds better than being a fake one.
Well ... Like, I don't mind when people comment and say stuff that isn't always positive. What I hate is people complaining about how others' livejournal are petty and people only post things about how sad they are to find attention from others. Because that's not always true.
