Ugh driving on highways, I'm still too nervous to do it. O_o I might be scarred by the fact that the entrance nearest my house growing up was right near a merge so you had to cross six lanes of heavy traffic in half a mile to reach the right exit.

Thanks! It's a... they call me a "temp" but it's more temp in the sense that I don't have a fixed number of hours each week, rather than having a fixed end to my work there (I don't). I do some QA stuff and help out the marketing team as well when needed. It's sort of ad hoc work, nothing particularly challenging, but it's at least some money coming in and I can work from home which is a delight

Well we have public transportation too but I'm sick of it lirl which was part of the point in getting my license. Everything is much closer when you drive, too, unless it's rush hour.

Apparently as of today we know the American Broadchurch will be called "Gracepoint" although I suspect I will carry on calling it American Broadchurch for some time. And LOL ia -- I don't know what's up with s2 of Broadchurch but if it doesn't have the former detectives club I'm not sure I'll be super interested. I did like most of the characters, but the Elie/Hardy dynamic was the major point of interest for me.

Actually I haven't watched in a few weeks. Ever since that episode where James Franco gets raped as a plot device without the show displaying any realization that he was raped, I was like, "nope". I might go back to it one day, but idk.

S2 isn't out yet but they released news about it and it's due sometime November I think. You should definitely give it a shot! What a good game. I can't wait for s2, the news they released just made me more excited than ever.

Well my Tumblr will keep you well stocked with wank for weeks to come as the 50th comes and goes. DID YOU READ THE SPOILERS FOR MATT'S LAST EPISODE AT CHRISTMAS? APPARENTLY HE REGENERATES "WITH SUCH FORCE IT CREATES A MUSHROOM CLOUD" AND CLARA "WATCHES FROM A SAFE DISTANCE". COULD ANYTHING POSSIBLY BE FUNNIER? I DON'T THINK SO.

I did not beat anyone at go-karting, except maybe the one guy who DNF. I am a terrible, terrible gokarter and I understand nothing. I didn't even really enjoy the actual gokarting if I'm honest, since I spent most of it in terror that I was going to die.

Also, yesterday was the screening of Richard II -- one of those ones where like, they record the live performance and broadcast it in a movie theatre -- and I think I was the youngest person in the entire theatre. The average age had to be at least 60.
