well, they'd better be, part of their job description implies a certain level of sympathy and compassion. and if they don't fulfill their job description then they're not really worthy of being paid then, are they? and they don't want that. LOL don't mind me, i'm a little crazy today. hope for a good nurse, but don't fret, you'll be just fine.
