so I was taking a break from writing my papers and eating some of the cotton candy I brought back from London when a deep, thought provoking question came to me

yeah it is pretty cool...but all cotton candy is is sugar, basically sugar that has been "strung" out...so to speak...anyway sugar dissolves in your mouth because of the temperature of your wet salavia* and the acidity level of your salavia* so the cotton candy(aka-sugar)dissolves on contact.
