And I'll be honest, I'm not really sure how good it is, but I've decided to go with it. Because I feel it's worth a shot. And I have to do it before Carly tries it, because she hasn't figured out that Ned is more interested in Sam than he is in her

"Wonderful." How bad would it look if I just ran out of here?
He's looking at the apartment. Yes, I know it's trashed. Maybe I can get him to marvel at how crazy they both are while I try to get out of here? ... No, I'm bad at that.
Why haven't I learned how to get out of things yet? Sam used to have such a good sense of it, and still does, and I get stuck in situations like these.
And I know he wouldn't teach me anything, because he's a stingy bastard with that. It makes him happy that he can do things that I can't, because I'm the slayer, and he's the pyro who doesn't do much of anything with it unless he needs to.
The only reason why that doesn't bother me more, is because it's a little scary.
But the other things he could help me with! And he won't!
"What are you doing here?"And now would be a really good time to know what to say! Damn damn damn damn ( ... )

Still looks guilty. Like she was 'borrowing' something without permission that they wouldn't have wanted to loan her. Granted, I'm here too. To Arianna that could be equally as suspicious, but I did get Carly's permission for the book, and I did tell her that I would be dropping by to leave it off.
I'm also not as worried as Arianna seems to be. She looks like she just got caught with her hand in the cookie jar. Its a giveaway. To what, I don't know, but to something.
And I know that this isn't serious. Arianna is Sam's sister. She's a little different from most girls because of what she's been through, but she's a good person. Even though she's busted, this can't be as bad as she's making it out to be. The apartment is a mess, but...
Well, I can't think of a reason for that one. Maybe she can explain it.
"I had nothing to do with this. I swear."Huh ( ... )

Okay?
Is that 'okay, I believe you', or 'okay, crazy girl, I'm just waiting for you to leave so I can run and tell my aunt you did something horrible to her and her boyfriend's apartment'?
... Oh God, I feel like Sam. Stop that, right now!
I mentally slapped myself to get it back together, and just smiled at him, hoping we could just leave it at this. I want to get out of here with the cookies I stole, please.
It might not be the best plan I've ever come up with, but I don't want to get busted now by Dan. What's he going to think if he figures out what I just stole? Nothing good!
"What were you borrowing?"
...
Damn!
"Well..." Change the subject? I think so. It might work. If I make it casual, he could forget. Do I remember how to be casual? I never do very well with that around him. It's not fair at all.
Damn it, why am I acting like Sam?!
"What're you doing here anyway?"
There! That was good. I'm proud of myself for that one. I really am. I'll eat one of these cookies if I manage to get out of here with them as a ( ... )
