if she is so shallow that she gets pissed at you for moving on and bettering yourself than i would say its best that you both move on from this friendship anyway. you need to get out of the haute, and your mothers clutches, experience new life without the same group of friends that you have had for years, if you are truely great friends it will remain how eric and i have, if not than you will both move on in new directions much like scott and i did (in case you notice you know eric but not scott; there is a reason for that he wasnt benefiting the progress of my life) thats what you need to focus on. moving up, moving out, moving on until you find what life has for you, i hope it has a lot more than the gas station has to offer.
